By Bishop Frank Dupree Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you every…

Marketplace Ministry

Teaching >> Marketplace

By Joseph Mattera Marketplace Ministry as a Jurisdiction in the Kingdom of God Some erroneous views have been articulated by some in the Marketplace Movement in regards to their relationship with the local church. Their teachings have either dismissed the proper role and function of the local church in regards to the marketplace or replaced it with a "mobile church" mentality in which a…

Gatekeepers Covenant

Gatekeepers Covenant

In Biblical Times, the Priests and Elders; those who were the Principle Leaders of a Region, would gather at the gates of a City and attend to the affairs of the Kingdom of God. It is from this practice that the term “Gatekeepers” has come about. We, the members of Metro Apostolic Network, have answered the call from the Throne of God and come together in one mind and spirit  for the purpose of attending to such affairs concerning the Kingdom of God in our Region that the Holy Spirit of God reveals and commissions us to. For this reason we submit ourselves to the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ as is reflected in John 13: 34-35; “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

Called to Be Disciples

E-mail Print PDF

This article is "Meat for the Mature"... There are too many today who call Jesus "Lord, Lord" but they don't do the things He says... I've included some ancients texts in this article to show just what Jesus meant when He called someone to "Be My Disciple"...

Apostle Dupree

The call to be a rabbi's disciple in first-century Israel often meant leaving relatives and friends and traveling the country under austere conditions. It also meant total commitment. A prospective disciple first had to be sure his priorities were in order.

Consider the words of the man who said to Jesus, "I will follow you, Lord, but first let me go back and say good-bye to my family" (Luke 9:61). Jesus' reply shows that only those who were prepared to commit themselves totally to him would be welcome: "No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."

This is emphasized in Jesus' response to another man who offered to follow him, but only after "burying his father." "Let the dead bury their dead," Jesus told him (Luke 9:60; Matthew 8:22).

Apparently, Jesus' replies were directed towards persons whom he had invited to leave home and serve a full-time apprenticeship with him. This form of discipleship was a unique feature of ancient Jewish society.

The Flow of the Anointing

E-mail Print PDF

THE FLOW OF THE ANOINTING

Psalms 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

THE ANOINTING FLOWED DOWN FROM AARON'S HEAD TO HIS FEET...

This means that the Anointing of God upon us must come from the Head, The Pastor, down his shoulders, chest, etc. to the feet ... From the Pastor to the Elders, to the Deacons, to the Brethren ...

The Church must be in DIVINE ORDER in order for the ANOINTING to be upon the Church so it can "Destroy the Yoke of Bondage" When someone in the Church Is out of DIVINE ORDER they create a "DRIP?SPOT". The Anointing Oil is not FLOWING DOWN THE BODY but is DRIPPING OFF THE BODY. So those who are "under" the one "out of order" are not getting the Anointing that they are supposed to be receiving.
