Our Mission

E-mail Print PDF

Metro Apostolic Network brings Ministers together in an atmosphere in which strong relationships can be built. This results in the development of deep friendships and true accountability; i.e. “iron sharpening iron”. This strengthens our respective Churches and Ministries and culminates in advancing the Kingdom of God in our individual sphere of influence.

With METRONET we are developing an Community where our Members can fellowship online and enjoy the benefits of the Metro website.

Through both of these forums we believe that we are helping to fulfill the need Men and Women of God have for networking and resource facilitation.

What do we do in a Gatekeeper Gathering?

On a regular basis we invite the Gatekeepers of the region to come together for fellowship to hear "what the Spirit is saying to the Churches". These gatherings are in a “roundtable” style affording those who attend the opportunity to participate in each discussion. These are powerful, lively times of fellowship giving those present the opportunity to develop solid relationships with each other. Through these times of fellowship we believe the Lord is giving us specific strategies necessary t o see His Kingdom advance.

We make available to our Members “equipping tools” that can assist them in their Local Churches, Ministries or Networks.

Metro Apostolic Network is a "Servant Ministry" and we strive to “have the mind of Christ” as seen in Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

Our desire is not to bring Men and Women of God into "conformity" but to attain our stated goals by taking advantage of the collective wisdom, knowledge and experience that each one brings to bear. Each member therefore has the ability to contribute to the whole while maintaining our own distinct identity.

We recognize that God calls people into individual and unique ministries. We also recognize the autonomy of the Local Church. In no way do we desire to interfere with an individual’s calling or with the Local Church. Rather, it is our purpose to affirm and build up each individual member and the Local Church.
